History

Founded in 1963 by William Bottge Sr., Bottge Inc, began as Bottge Excavators, a small, general excavation company that serviced communities in Putnam County, NY. As years past the company expanded its role into a full service septic company, handling residential and commercial pumpings, installations and was a material supplier. Later Bottge Inc branched out further, expanding into a full service material yard, producing aggregate materials and topsoil, which continues to this day.

In the mid 1990’s sons, Bill and David Bottge further diversified the company, with David focusing on heavy excavation, rock removal, mobile crushing and a trucking company know as BEI. Bill Bottge, with his son Drew, maintain the original premise of the company- excavation/ site development, septic systems, blacktop, equestrian projects and riding rings.
